Built to be added to your essential gear list and left there, the Gen4 combines motion-activated tracking, two-way peace-of-mind messaging and a dedicated SOS button in a compact, IP68-rated housing.

How It Works

The Gen4 communicates via the Globalstar satellite network rather than mobile towers, so it keeps working in national parks, deserts, mountains and open water where phones drop out entirely. Pressing SOS alerts GEOS's 24/7 emergency coordination centre with your exact GPS coordinates; pressing Check-in or Custom Message sends a pre-set update to your chosen contacts by SMS and email, viewable on SPOT's own online mapping.

A SPOT satellite service plan is required to activate tracking and messaging — plans are available month-to-month or on an annual contract directly through SPOT.
