The whip fall is the part that takes most of the force during use — especially when the whip cracks in the air or strikes the ground. It’s made to wear out over time to help protect the main body of the whip. You can simply tie the cracker back onto the end of the remaining fall and continue using it. Once the fall gets to about half its original length, that’s the ideal time to replace it so you don’t risk damaging the plaited part of the whip.
