Actually works better than I expected. The course side puts an even edge on the knife, and the fine side puts the secondary fine angled edge on the first...the way a knife should be sharpened

I thought for the price I’d give this a go. I was pleasantly surprised to find it’s actually a good quality basic sharper that works really well on knives that still have a good edge. Great to chuck in the caravan draw

Used it to sharpen a couple of old kitchen knives . It worked wonders as we were going to throw the knives out but now they are sharper than ever. Cheers
