Description

Everything is in range!

Trusted by elite shooters, the Razor® HD Gen III 4-24x44 FFP delivers the versatility needed for high-stakes tactical operations. Its low magnification and wide field of view ensure fast observation and close-range shots, while high magnification provides precision for long-range target identification. With a compact, rugged design that minimizes weight without sacrificing performance, it offers top-tier optics and unmatched reliability when it matters most.

Features:

  • Class Leading HD Optical System: Stunning resolution and class-leading field of view combine to create our most advanced optical system.
  • First Focal Plane EBR-7D Reticle: Scale of the EBR-7D reticle remains in proportion to the zoomed image. Constant subtensions allow for accurate holdovers and ranging at all magnifications while the EBR-7D reticle is useful for long-range shooting.
  • L-Tec+™ Zero System: The L-Tec+™ Zero System is easy to use with all captive parts and only one set screw, making zeroing quick and simple. Once set, it also allows for more travel.
  • Compact and Lightweight: A compact, rugged design that minimizes weight without sacrificing performance.
  • APO (Apochromatic): Index-matched lenses correct colour across the entire visual spectrum.
  • Micro-Adjust Zero Setting: Infinite zero setting positions allow zero to be set between clicks for optimal accuracy.
  • XR™ Plus Lens Coatings: Ultimate anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces provide maximum light transmission for peak clarity and the pinnacle of low-light performance.
  • Optically Indexed Lenses: Optimize image sharpness and brightness from edge to edge.
  • Plasma Tech: Cutting-edge coating application process provides unparalleled coating durability and performance.
  • Glass-Etched Reticle: Allows for intricate reticle design. Protected between two layers of glass for optimum durability and reliability.
  • Aircraft Grade Aluminium: Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminium for strength and rigidity.
  • ArmorTek: Ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt.
  • Hard Anodized Stealth Shadow Finish: Highly durable anodization provides a low-glare matte surface and helps camouflage the shooter's position.
  • Locking Side Illumination: Easily accessible and lockable illumination dial is located on the left side of turret housing. Features eleven intensity levels with off positions between each setting.
  • Argon Gas Purged: Gas purged and O-ring sealed for superior fogproof and waterproof performance in the most extreme conditions.
  • Waterproof: Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • Fogproof: Designed to withstand a wide range of temperatures.
  • Shockproof: Designed to withstand the highest levels of recoil and impact.

EBR-7D (MOA)
Packed with useful subtension data for long-range shooting , the EBR-7D is a hashmarked, ranging reticle available in the first focal plane. A windage tree in the lower two quadrants is perfect for fast follow-up corrections for both wind and elevation. The cross-plex illumination allows for better usability at lower magnification.

Breakdown of MOA and MRAD:

  • MOA (Minute of Angle)
    • What it is: MOA is a unit of angular measurement that is commonly used for adjusting rifle scopes and calculating shot placement. One MOA equals 1/60th of a degree.
    • How it works: At 100 yards, 1 MOA equals approximately 1.047 inches (usually rounded to 1 inch for simplicity).
    • Usage: Scopes with MOA adjustments typically allow you to "click" the scope turrets in small increments to move the point of impact. A typical adjustment might be ¼ MOA per click, meaning each click moves the point of impact about 0.25 inches at 100 yards.
    • Why it matters: MOA is useful for fine adjustments, particularly for precision shooting at long distances.
  • MRAD (Milliradian or Mil)
    • What it is: MRAD (often just called "mil") is another unit of angular measurement. One mil is 1/1000th of a radian, and at 100 yards, 1 mil equals 3.6 inches.
    • How it works: Scopes with MRAD adjustments allow you to click in mil increments (often 0.1 mil per click), which corresponds to moving the point of impact by 0.36 inches at 100 yards.
    • Usage: Like MOA, MRAD is used for adjusting windage and elevation on scopes. It’s more common in military and long-range precision shooting.
    • Why it matters: MRAD is often preferred for its simpler math (1 mil at 100 yards is 3.6 inches, at 1000 yards, it’s 36 inches).
